Earlier this month, the Brits published a study on UK success in eProcurement. Released by the Office of Government Commerce, the report is a surprisingly fun and easy read for a study authored by public servants. It's also probably the most informative public sector Spend Management report published by any country.
What's the most interesting finding in the report? I’d argue there's a few, but the one that surprised be most was procurement cycle time reduction (60% reduction from "e-sourcing" initiatives).
In all, lots of good facts and figures. You can read the report here.
