I'm headed back to Chicago this afternoon after an exhausting and exhilarating ten days visiting Chinese manufacturers and taking in the economic and social climate over here. Even though I've not been blogging quite as much as I would like from China, Spend Matters' traffic has continued to grow in the past week, exceeding 2,000 hits on some days. Our goal is to reach 100,000 hits per month by late spring or early summer (which would represent a 1,000 percent increase in readership in less than 9 months). And I think we're clearly on track to do it, especially if you consider Spend Matters' growth history. But increased readership is only one aspect of the progress we're making with the blog. When I return, we'll be implementing a number of new features on Spend Matters including a registered reader program that will make Spend Matters blog summaries available via email and will also provide additional premium content that only subscribers will receive. Becoming a registered reader will be the only way to gain access to this material.
