Honestly, my plan was not to write 3 posts on LCCS and China today. It just ended up that way. But do check out what Brian Sommer has to say on Services Safari about wage inflation and employee turnover in China (quoting a survey in Business Week). Here are the highlights: "turnover in multinationals last year jumped from 8.3% in 2001 to 14% in 2005; salaries are up 8.4%; and companies will face more demanding employees (who will want to work fewer hours for more pay)." I wrote about hiring challenges in China earlier this week as well.
