Today, I'm attending Ariba's industry analyst day in Pittsburgh. So while I'm holed up in briefings all day with my Boston-based colleagues -- if they would consider me such -- I thought it appropriate to talk a bit about my views on the inner workings of the analyst world. My plan here is to entertain while shedding some additional practical light on the how vendors and users can get the most from their relationships with the analyst community in the Spend Management world. I would also venture to say this forthcoming commentary is generic and would be appropriate as a general guide for working with the industry analysts in any space. So keep your eyes peeled.
