If you're curious to hear the latest about what's on my mind these days, I'll be speaking at CVM Supply World Chicago on March 10th. The Chicago event is the first in a nine-city Supply World tour taking place throughout March and April. Joining me as a keynote for the Chicago event will be Al Williams, Accenture's CPO. After our presentations, I'll be facilitating a panel discussion with other procurement executives. I'm excited about the series because judging from the agenda and the planning discussions I've had with CVM, it's shaping up to be perhaps the least commercial vendor event of this sort that I've either gone to or been a part of in the past. The focus is entirely on what's going on in the industry -- and how procurement can make a difference in the current economic climate. If you're a practitioner, consultant or vendor in the Chicago area -- or any other city the event is coming through -- I hope you can join us for this free afternoon event series.
