I had the chance to catch up with an old friend last night at the SIG Global Sourcing Summit in Baltimore and we both wanted to prove the point that China sourcing is alive and well. Tim is actually tweeting live from the event, along with others. Follow the full Twitter action here. Personally, I'm wiped from what's already been a long week and I'd rather digest this year’s excellent material that cover real-time. Look for a few posts summarizing some of my key findings from SIG tomorrow and next week. Kudos to SIG for getting such a good crowd despite the economy and travel restrictions (325 or so attendees are here). This is proof that quality is the only key for conferences and associations to thrive in a down market.
