Rearden Commerce Acquires HomeRun -- Rearden Commerce, creator of the Deem™ platform, today announced that it has acquired HomeRun.com, creator of the HomeRun® social-buying service and its OfferEngine™ platform, which powers group commerce programs for many of the best known consumer web sites. Transcending today's basic "Daily Deals" models, the companies intend to leverage a disruptive combination of large-scale consumer and merchant distribution, big data and advanced personalization technology to present highly-relevant offers to consumers based on their identities, locations and context.
