The Day SOPA Made the Internet Go Dark -- If you weren't talking about SOPA before, you are now. It's an event that's unprecedented in the history of the internet, dozens upon dozens of major sites are currently dark in political protest of a bill to censor the internet. Google, Wikipedia, Reddit and many other sites have banded together to educate the average internet user about the dangers of the House and Senate bills SOPA (the Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (the Protect IP Act).
Less disconcerting in a British accent??
British Airways flight mistakenly tells passengers plane will crash -- Passengers flying over the Atlantic were terrified when it was announced twice that their plane could be about to crash. British Airways (BA) Flight 206 was at 35,000 feet, halfway from Miami to London's Heathrow Airport, when the taped message was played by accident.

Airbus May Open Assembly Line in U.S. -- Airbus SAS, whose parent lost out to Boeing Co. (BA) in a U.S. tender to supply refueling aircraft, may add a final assembly line in the U.S. to buoy sales in the world's No. 1 market for single-aisle planes, an executive said. The European planemaker, which has final assembly lines in Toulouse, France, and Hamburg, Germany, as well as Tianjin, China, may find that adding a similar operation in the U.S. increases visibility with potential clients, Hans Peter Ring, chief financial officer of Airbus parent European Aeronautic, Defence & Space Co., said today in an interview.
