Time Warner Cable Subscribers Being Asked To Pay For $2 Billion Dodgers — Will Time Warner Cable’s subscribers help pay for the $2 billion purchase of the Los Angeles Dodgers by Mark Walter Magic Johnson and Stan Kasten? We will soon find out, apparently, as the L.A. Times is reporting that “Time Warner Cable subscribers are being notified in their latest bill that the monthly cost of basic cable service will jump 8.2%, or almost four times the annual rate of inflation as of October 2012 — to $72.50 from $67.”
Navy considers Dell-only procurement — The Naval Air Systems Command posted a solicitation this week to buy a laptop and some workstations, but is requiring bidders to only submit Dell products in their proposals, Washington Technology reported.
