It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for the US Spend Matters research and analyst team this spring conference and event season. All three members of the US coverage team attended the ISM's Annual International Supply Management Conference in Dallas earlier in the month. And the same crew presented and led discussions at the joint Spend Matters / MetalMiner Conflict Minerals Edge event in Chicago last week.
We had the chance to stop by and present at Corporate United’s Synergy event as well, only a few blocks away from our own event a day earlier. Last month, Thomas Kase attended Concur’s user conference (stay tuned for significant coverage on Spend Matters and Spend Matters PRO of T&E, travel and related areas in the coming weeks). I also headed West last month to cover and speak at Coupa Inspire.
Furthermore, Ariba held its annual LIVE event last week. While we did not attend, we did speak to numerous folks who did, and we will continue to feature coverage from the show as well. There’s a lot of good stuff to come out of it. Conference season steams full speed ahead this week with three events that we’ll be covering, including the 2013 Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay conference, SAP Sapphire, and the Sourcing Interests Group (SIG) annual spring summit. I’ll be joining Dawn Evans for a lunchtime chat on stage on Thursday at SIG this week down in Amelia Island. And next week is BravoSolution’s US Customer Conference in New Orleans.
Stay tuned as the Spend Matters team brings you the best from the conference road. We’ll feature relevant coverage and analysis daily, so check back in to hear the latest from the shows.
