Share Your Most Chilling Procurement Tale of Terror and Win a Year-Long Plus Subscription Sydney Lazarus - October 15, 2013 5:05 PM | Categories: Spend Humor | Tags: Incendiary Tidbits, L1 From geopolitical disasters and bankrupt suppliers to comparatively minor problems like system failures, horror stories both big and small are abound in procurement. And it seems like everyone has at least one procurement anecdote of things gone terribly wrong. Spend Matters analysts certainly do. With Halloween approaching, we’re holding our first ever “Procurement Horror Stories” contest and giving a year’s subscription to Spend Matters Plus (a $240 value) to the person with the most bone-chilling tale. Come October 31, the winner will have his or her story published in its entirety, with the exception of a few edits to protect the ghoulish. We may also share condensed versions of top submissions. If you already have one or several anecdotes in mind, send them over via our contest entry form. Check back over the next couple weeks for our own procurement horror stories as well. Got questions not answered by our contest rules? Comment below! May the most horrifying story win. Discuss this: Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
