Earlier this month, we introduced Spend Matters PRO members to Vroozi, an upstart P2P vendor with roots in catalog management technology but which has since expanded past this initial single offering to deliver a broader eProcurement front end and a rich set of mobile capabilities. Vroozi’s move into mobile is early for the procurement market, but not mobile shopping adoption in general, which has sprung to life recently (see below). It’s our view that just as with electronic commerce, which first started to cross the chasm in the consumer world well over a decade ago, after mobile continues to make eye-opening inroads into 2014 with consumers, that market changing business users and application adoption will follow.
