A.T. Kearney’s ROSMA: Motivations, Open Standards, and Summary Observations [PRO]

If A.T. Kearney’s ROSMA is an attempt to provide an industry standard for a Procurement ROI metric, many might ask: “Shouldn’t the definitions for this metric be developed and shared widely amongst a broad set of industry stakeholders rather than a single management consultancy pushing a ‘proprietary’ branded metric that is basically a re-jiggered Procurement ROI metric that many firms already use?” It’s an important question to answer given that A.T. Kearney is partnering with the two most important industry groups in procurement, ISM and CIPS, to push ROSMA into the mainstream.
