GM Issues 5 More Recalls, Texting 911 for Help, Fast Food Strike, Walmart’s Profit Dips 5%

General Motors has issued five more recalls, covering nearly 3 million vehicles globally.

Starting today, AT&T, Spring, T-Mobile, and Verizon customers in certain markets will be able to text 911 for help.

U.S. fast food workers in 150 cities are striking today to protest low wages.

Walmart reported that its profit fell 5 percent, blaming the cold winter for the disappointing quarter.
