While the Amazon metaphor is a popular one when discussing eProcurement, it can be a bit short-sighted. In an upcoming webinar, Pierre Mitchell (Chief Research Officer, Spend Matters) will join Richard Waugh of Zycus and Scott Fitzgerald of The Mentor Network to discuss why GPS-enabled smartphones and other devices, along with the cloud as a whole, can contribute to eProcurement.

Register now for “Forget the Amazon Metaphor – P2P Needs to Be More Like a GPS.” The webinar will take place on Tuesday, June 24 at 1 p.m. CST.

We will probe how GPS value in B2C can be applied to another form of GPS, a Guided Procurement System, for B2B purposes. Other takeaways from the webinar will be:

  • A look at the next wave of P2P efficiency and what innovations are coming down the pike
  • The effectiveness of Procure-to-Pay based on essential metrics
  • How “guided buying” can also improve efficiency and mitigate risk
