West Coast Port Situation Worsens, Oil Train Derails In West Virginia

The situation at the West Coast ports continues to worsen. Business – from large and small to clothing retailers and car makers – are losing money and planning for inventory delays through the spring.

A train carrying oil derailed in West Virginia, sending crude oil into a nearby river and causing surrounding towns to evacuate. It is the second oil train derailment in North America this week.

Samsung said it plans to focus primarily on investing in growth strategies in 2015, including eyeing M&A deals.

Nestle plans to clean up its supply chain. The candy maker will rid more than 250 chocolate products of artificial flavors and colors.
