The service is set to cost $50 a year, less than the $99 fee for Prime. Amazon, McDonald’s and Unilever were once again in the top 5 of the newly released Supply Chain Top 25 ranking by Gartner. This is the eleventh year Gartner has put out the list. The death toll of the footwear factory fire in the Philippines this week has now reached 72. Officials are investigating the fire and the factory’s building safety standards and whether there were sufficient exits from the building, which may have allowed more people to escape the flames. General Motors will invest $1 billion to refurbish its engineering and design hub outside of Detroit. The move will create 2,600 jobs.
