IBX (part of Capgemini since 2010) is a provider of source-to-settle solutions and services. Since its origins in the Nordics, the IBX solutions are now available worldwide, much owing to Capgemini's procurement outsourcing and BPO practice. For this reason, clients are predominantly large organizations with a global footprint.
IBX delivers a combination of unique IP and solutions combined with strong ERP integration and deployment capabilities, with an originally heavily SAP-centric and later an ERP-agnostic approach. The company's "procurement-as-a-service" solutions cover:

- Purchase-to-pay – across multi-ERP – with a (in Spend Matters opinion) strong degree of usability and ease of adoption
- Supplier network with over 500K suppliers, catalog management, self-service connectivity integration
- Services – including BPO outsourcing
From its early days, mainly improving on ERP installations, the company has since developed substantial technology of its own, so strong in fact that many ERP procurement modules can be replaced by IBX solutions. The requisition-to-PO-to-invoice process for example is entirely managed by IBX's solution and so is content management and user layers, with clear synergies from Capgemini's deep understanding of tax rules around the globe helping its P2P solution.
The company leads with its deep ERP relationships and is not the first to suggest that any ERP modules can be dropped, but for clients using IBX, this is worth considering.
