Massachusetts-originated Hiperos has made a name for itself in the supplier management field first through its supplier performance management (SPM) solutions and later with information management more broadly. More recently, Hiperos created the label third-party management and has focused primarily on risk management across all external parties that a company engages with.
Hiperos delivers a full-featured supplier management solution in addition to offering turnkey toolkits for targeting specific regulatory requirements – such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Its broader capabilities include supplier registration qualification and certification and onboarding, as well as the secure, tailored measurement and audit of supplier performance and compliance.
The company is well represented with clients in most verticals but is particularly strong among heavily regulated firms, such as those in the financial services sector. Opus Global, an investment company with strong ties at the management level to the financial services industry, acquired Hiperos in July 2014.
While still a small firm, Hiperos now has greater access to capital, a substantial list of global clients and has built a name for itself as a capable governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and supply base risk management provider, aka a third-party management provider. The company should be considered for any short list of prospective solution providers addressing the needs in these areas.
