Ivalua Reports Impressive First Half of 2015

Ivalua recently announced its mid-year performance results, showing significant growth for the spend management solution provider. During the first 6 months of the year, Ivalua reported 64% year-over-year growth, with renewal rates hitting 98%. New customer acquisition was also higher than in the past.

The provider has also focused on bringing somewhat unique innovations to its modular procurement suite in the past 12 months – something Spend Matters PRO has covered in depth. For example, earlier this year, we noted how Ivalua had differentiated itself from the pack with its procurement project management tool, which includes capabilities that can transform direct material purchasing projects and strengthen MRP system capabilities.

Spend Matters has also named Ivalua one of our “50 Providers to Know” as part of the 2015 Spend Matters Almanac, suggesting its unique capabilities and linkages – sourcing, project and program management, contract management and supplier management tools – included in its broader single-data model suite make for a compelling offering. In addition, its high degree of configurability within the procure-to-pay area makes Ivalua a good fit for multinational companies that have strong customized or industry-specific procurement processes.

In a press release about its mid-year performance results, Ivalua also pointed to a “series of system-wide enhancements” to its software solution, including a universal search tool, a “walk-up” item catalog that redesigned the interface for purchasing and an API workbench.

Ivalua’s mid-year accomplishments also include:

  • 20 new customers (more than ever before) including Scotiabank
  • 65% year-over-year growth in bookings
  • 60% increase in channel partner-driven revenue
  • A record number of large customer projects went live – including those for Whirlpool and Select Medical Systems

We can’t say we’re surprised by these announcements, and we are looking forward to seeing the new functionalities in Ivalua’s software solution roll out. Today, procurement technologies are constantly adapting to keep up with the demands of the industry. Ivalua is one of the providers that continues to bring innovation to the space.

“Our success as a company has always been tied to the success of our customers,” said David Khuat-Duy, Corporate CEO for Ivalua, in a press release. “This is definitely a team effort, and it is good to see so many new customers realizing the value of our solutions as we work to help them reach that next level of performance.”
