The increase is attributed to more e-commerce holiday shopping. Wal-Mart is seeking federal approval to test drones for new delivery methods and inventory management. Part of Wal-Mart’s application to the Federal Aviation Administration seeks to research drone use for “deliveries to customers at Walmart facilities, as well as to consumer homes.” General Motors will recall more than 1.41 million cars with model years between 1997 and 2004, due to a defect that has led to about 1,200 engines catching on fire. GM says hard braking can cause oil to drip on the hot exhaust manifold of the cars, leading to engine compartment fires. BravoSolution announced today it released a “next-generation spend and data visualization tool” called BravoAdvantage Analytics. Bravo said the tool will offer procurement organizations more supply chain visibility.
