Afternoon Coffee: SABMiller Scraps Plans for New Supply Chain Jobs, Industrial Production Falls in October Kaitlyn McAvoy - November 17, 2015 12:28 PM | Categories: Afternoon Coffee | Tags: General News SABMiller said it will no longer create two new supply chain positions after it officially acquires AB InBev. SABMiller originally planned to create a group director of integrated supply position and a role for a group director of human resources. U.S. industrial production declined in October 0.2%, in part because of falling crude oil prices discouraging oil drilling activity. Mild weather also played a role, as electricity use was down for the month. The U.S. consumer price index increased in October, however, by 0.2%. The rise comes after two months of declines to the index. Taco Bell joined a growing group of fast food companies this week that plan to switch to using only cage-free eggs. The chain said it would make the move by the end of 2016. SIGN UP for the Spend Matters newsletter Dirty Rotten Spendrels Discuss this: Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
