U.S. factory orders increased 1.5% in October, reversing the drop seen in September. Orders for durable goods, specifically, grew 2.9% in October. Google announced it plans to purchase an additional 842 megawatts of clean energy capacity. On its blog, Google called it the “largest, and most diverse, purchase of renewable energy ever made by a non-utility company.” Ben & Jerry’s also announced its plans to create non-GMO commodity supply chains, which will include sourcing non-GMO ingredients.
