Advertising and Sponsorship Opportunities
As the leading English language procurement media site to assist vendors, services providers, management consultants and outsourcing providers reach decision makers in the Global 2000 and middle market, Spend Matters offers a variety of engagement options. A selection of available programs is listed below. For more details on any of the offerings, please contact William Busch, VP of Business Development at wbusch@spendmatters.com or phone: (215) 508-7414.
Become a Lead Sponsor of Spend Matters
The number of Lead Sponsors on Spend Matters is limited to four at any one time. Lead Sponsorship combines a discounted array of offerings and forms of engagement including premier placement at the top of the Spend Matters main page, participation in demand creation efforts including Compass, webinars, podcasts and overall marketing input, as well as advisory and/or conference speaking. Associate Sponsors receive priority notification of Lead Sponsor availability and credit of their remaining subscription. We also maintain a reservation list of vendors that are not current Associate Sponsors.
Become an Associate Sponsor of Spend Matters
Spend Matters Associate Sponsor program is a powerful way to connect with the Spend Matters community that goes far beyond online advertising programs. Spend Matters Associate Sponsors receive their name (or can promote a specific campaign) immediately below the current Lead sponsors on the main page. This listing/promotional program can link directly to a website of their choosing (e.g., main web page, campaign landing page). Associate Sponsors also receive a listing in the Spend Matters Provider Index on the top of the Spend Matters homepage and discounts on Compass, webinars, podcasts, advisory and/or conference speaking. There is often a waiting list for available Associate Sponsorship spots (the number is limited to eight at any one time).
Sponsor a Spend Matters Compass Series
Compass is an educational series designed to place software and solution providers in front of companies making high-value decisions on strategies, technologies and services. Introduced in January 2010, we conceived the program to provide practitioners with free, objective and highly readable seminal research and analysis of business issues driving the need for particular technologies and solutions. Each Compass Series relates to a common theme and topic of particular interest to procurement, supply chain and technology executives. Published over a twelve-month period, the series features a set four to five downloadable PDF white papers (or "briefs"), usually between six to twelve pages in length (occasionally more). Each series launches with an initial Compass brief with a new piece of content added approximately every two to four months following, encouraging readers to continuously review, reflect and interact with the material as it becomes available.
Each paper in a specific Compass Series has a maximum of five sponsors. We offer a wide variety of options from individual paper sponsorship, to sponsorship of an entire Series for optimal lead generation, thought leadership and branding. Sponsors may also opt for customized webinars, customer case studies, video interviews, additional multimedia opportunities and conference speaking by Jason Busch, the lead editor of the reports. The Spend Matters Compass Series is not an endorsement of a solution, product or company. Rather, they have been designed to serve as ideal forms of accessible thought leadership for sponsors to use in sales and lead generation settings.

Sponsor a Spend Matters Perspective
Spend Matters Perspectives provide an objective but highly readable look at the business issues driving the need for particular technologies and solutions. They take the form of a three to five page PDF briefing document that analyzes the need for a specific type of solution or technology, general or specific trends in the procurement and operations markets, or related topics. We author Spend Matters Perspectives in an informal business tone. The result is that they pull the reader in rather than causing them to doze off, as many industry analyst or academic reports do. Spend Matters Perspectives are not an endorsement of a solution, product or company. Rather, we have designed them to serve as a core piece of exclusive thought leadership for clients to use in sales or lead generation situations. To help promote Spend Matters Perspectives, Spend Matters will provide, for a one year period following publication, a separate link to each Perspectives brief on a client's website or a registration page on the client's website enabling the client to capture lead information. Contact us to learn more about how to become a Perspectives sponsor, for more information on the editorial calendar or to suggest a topic.

Media/Events Companies: Advertise Your Event
For conference providers and communities of interest, Spend Matters has added the opportunity to advertise events in the right column section on the site titled Media & Event Partners. Since this section is within the third scroll down page and we typically have at least five postings per day, our readership regularly scrolls down that far and beyond on a daily basis, making the site exposure quite prominent.
Event advertisements can be as wide as the Associate Sponsor ads at 155 pixels and two-thirds as high at 36 pixels. We will also run a current news posting announcing new events as well as a "round-up" post every 3 - 4 weeks commenting on advertised (and potentially non-advertised) events as a point of interest to our readers. Naturally, the ad will link to the event provider’s website for further details and registration. Contact William Busch for monthly advertising rates to target the largest procurement sector audience.
