BravoSolution Real World Sourcing – the Autumn Programme

As we head into the summer holiday period, the number of workshops, forums, conferences and the like understandably drops. I do sometimes wonder whether someone should do a mid-August event, on the basis that those of us who aren't on a beach somewhere with the kids have far less in our diaries than we do in most of the months of the year.

However, before we know it, we'll be back in September and back into the whirl of meetings and events again. So let's give you a quick run through of three BravoSolution Real World Sourcing events we have for you in the second half of 2015. These are run by me and Guy Allen, ex Fujitsu and Santander CPO.

All of the sessions are in a private room at the Jugged Hare restaurant near the Barbican, London and run from 11am until 2.30pm. The very reasonable fee also includes a most enjoyable networking lunch which gives you a chance to meet other procurement people and discuss the topic (and anything else) further. And don’t forget that one of our participants will also win the BravoSolution scholarship, worth £2,500 towards training and education activity of their choice. (See picture!)

Wednesday 16th September - Mastering the Supplier Performance and Relationship Continuum

There still exists much confusion over the definitions of Supplier Management and Supplier Relationship Management - what is the difference, and the overlap. This session will provide an overview of the whole area and provide guidance on tools and resources that are available in this area. Guy will also examine first steps in a Supplier Management programme and the support that is available to practitioners wanting to make a success of such programmes.

Wednesday 14th October - Preparing Procurement for Disruptive Change

Change is the norm for the modern world, whether in the public or private sector. It can be disruptive on a corporate or personal level; however, a changing environment can provide huge opportunity for those ready to grab it.  Guy will investigate the balance of power and how you can prepare and position yourself to make the most of the opportunity. He also tells us that this session will include a very active role for the participants – come prepared to get involved and maximise what you get out of the session.

Wednesday 25th November - Quick Wins for the New Procurement Leader

I’ll be leading this one, and we’ll be looking at five “quick wins” for the new CPO or senior procurement leader moving into a new role or organisation. What are the critical success factors? How do you get started? What sort of benefits should you be targeting? How do you get a huge pay rise? (Well, can’t guarantee that last one ...)

There are a few tickets still available for each session, you can find out more and book here. But don’t delay, the sessions do tend to sell out. And we’ll look forward to seeing you in the Autumn!
