BravoSolution Webinar Next Week – All About Source To Pay

We are only a week away from my BravoSolution Real World Procurement webinar on February 28th at 12 noon and 7pm when the topic will be "Is An Integrated Source to Pay Solution Right For You?"

We will cover the “source to pay” concept; the process and the technology and you can book here for the sessions. We’re aiming to answer questions like;

  • What exactly is the difference between source to pay and purchase to pay?
  • What are the advantages of source to pay and integrated suites? And are there any drawbacks?
  • How about the "best of breed" concept?
  • How can I quantify the benefits and build the business case?

There are a number of different elements to source to pay, and it is important to understand each and what you need from every element, as well as considering the whole. The theory of a joined-up and integrated S2P platform is great, and we will be discussing the undoubted positives around the single product approach. But frankly, it is no good buying a full S2P system if it includes only a really lousy sourcing capability that means no-one in procurement wants to use it! Or an unfriendly catalogue interface so the P2P element is rejected by budget holders.

We’ll be talking about that issue of adoption, because in our opinion it is the elephant in the tech room. We heard a story recently of a huge global procurement implementation. According to one of the consultants brought in to try and solve the problem, “nobody is using it”, and perhaps coincidentally, the CPO left rather hurriedly last year …  (Not a BravoSolution customer, I should quickly say)! But that just shows how important it is to understand what you’re buying, what it can do for you, and how you are going to “sell” it internally.

Anyway, those are the sort of areas we plan to cover, and we hope to get some interesting questions too.  I‘m going to talk for no more than 25 minutes, I promise, so we have plenty of time for questions and discussions, which is usually the best bit of these webinars, I find. So do join me on February 28th – there are two live sessions, one at 12 noon UK time, and one at 7pm UK time which is 2pm on the East coast of the USA and 11am in California, so more suitable for participants in that country.
