Next Wednesday (November 30th), at Smith and Wollensky off the Strand in London, we have the last Real World Procurement session for 2016, courtesy of BravoSolution. And it seems an appropriate topic to wrap up a year of these sessions during which we have looked at some of the fundamental issues for procurement, such as sourcing, P2P, people …

In this event, titled Proving Your Procurement Value, we will take a look at how procurement can ensure the organisation, including key stakeholders and senior management, understands the contribution the function can make. That starts with thinking about the value that procurement creates, and how it is created, and goes from there. Clearly, doing a good job is one thing; making sure the right people know we are doing a good job is another (but critically important) matter.

It is a popular session, looking at the bookings we have so far, but there are still a few places available. As usual, it will be an interactive session followed by Q&A over a decent networking lunch. If you can’t make it to London, we will be running a couple of webinars around the same topic on December 7th, at 10am UK time and 4pm UK time.  They are live, but it is the same content repeated, so whilst we would be delighted if you do register twice, you don’t really need to.  As well as me giving a 20 minute or so run through the subject, there will be plenty of time for Q&A, and given the topic I suspect that might be quite a lively part of the session.
