Rosslyn Analytics takes on Government data; Defra choose BravoSolution

Rosslyn Analytics continues to get stuck into the Government's COINS data and have now made available the latest batch of government spend data, turning round their analysis with impressive speed.  They've got some good coverage out of this as well; the Daily Mail used their analysis to feed this piece on various 'disgraceful' spending areas.

Meanwhile, Supply Management reported

"The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs has selected the BravoSolution eSourcing platform to enhance its procurement processes and handle all purchases worth more than £25,000."

Bravo continue to be very successful in the public sector, but the quote I liked in SM was " Defra would not reveal how much the deal was worth or how much the department aims to save by using the new system."

So there's a Department that hasn't quite cottoned on to the new spirit of openness, transparency and disclosure yet; get with the programme guys!
