Spend Matters launches search4 procurement “jobs board”

We’re delighted (and just a little nervous) to announce the latest development for the Spend Matters family.  We’ve launched last week our new website -  Spend Matters search4 procurement, a website that will provide details of vacancies for procurement and supply chain professionals – a “Jobs Board” in industry-speak.

We’re not moving into recruitment activity ourselves – far too difficult and challenging a market! Rather, this is about providing an effective and useful platform for candidates and recruiters. On the recruitment side, that includes both professional recruitment firms and organisations doing their own direct recruitment.

We've acquired the search 4 procurement site (and domain) and it is now fully owned and operated by Spend Matters. Our friends at Strategies, market leaders in Jobs Board software development and hosting, have updated it significantly.

The launch this week is relatively “soft”– we want to make sure everything works basically before we make too much song and dance about our new baby!  But we are making a couple of special offers.

Firstly, if you are a recruiter, all job adverts are FREE until the end of 2012. Just register on the site, which is very easy, we’ll get back to you with your full login details, then you can place adverts instantly.

And if you are an individual who is – or might be – looking for a job, register on the search4 procurement site with a few basic details and we’ll send you a copy of our unique and specially written e-Guide, “Great Procurement Interview Questions (and how to answer them...)”.  Absolutely free.

Please do take a look at the site now, bookmark it, and we’ll tell you more about our plans for it later this week.

Late news - following our newsletter article which mentioned the site, and went out on Sunday, we've already had recruiters and individuals signing up - thanks to everyone who is already supporting us!
