Last week, I posted a blog that criticized Jeff Thull's perception of procurement as a backwater. Today, Jeff posted a response to my blog. You can read it here. Jeff raises a number of points worth noting, but I would still argue that procurement should be making complex buying decisions. But ultimately, I think both Jeff and I agree that there's an intersection of cost cutting and sales, something which we'll certainly explore at Spend Matters in the future.
