YouTube Shuts Down, Twitter's New Premium Service, Holiday Shopping In April, Google Nose A Hoax?

YouTube recently announced plans to shut down temporarily in order to review every video uploaded to the site and pick the best video of all time. The winner will be announced in 2023, when YouTube reopens.

Yesterday Twitter introduced a new premium service that will allow users to use vowels in their tweets for a monthly fee of $5. The letter “y” will be free to all users.

In response to consumer demand and scientists’ recommendation that holiday shoppers start buying gifts earlier, retailers have introduced HolidApril for those who do not want to wait until Black Friday for a deal.

Some commentators speculate that Google Nose, the search engine site’s exciting new feature that pulls together a database of smells, is in reality a hoax.
