Apple’s “Zombie” Apps, Judge Rules Against Apple in E-Books Trial, Tribune Spins Off Newspapers

According to tracking service Adeven, Apple’s App Store is overrun with “zombies,” or apps that get few or no downloads.

A federal judge ruled that Apple conspired with publishers to raise the prices of e-books.

The Tribune Company announced today its decision to separate its newspapers, including The Chicago Tribune and The Los Angeles Times, into a second division called Tribune Publishing Company.

Now that Australia requires tobacco product packaging to include graphic images of ulcers and gangrene, smokers are accusing the government of also having altered the taste of cigarettes.
