USDA May Allow China-Slaughtered Poultry, American and US Airways Reach Merger Settlement

The USDA is considering allowing poultry raised and slaughtered in China to be sold in the U.S. Before, chicken could only be processed in China.

The latest retailer to announce an earlier start to Black Friday, Walmart will hold two sales events at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving evening.

The U.S. is set to overtake Saudi Arabia as the world’s top energy producer by 2015.

American Airlines and US Airways have reached a settlement with the U.S. Justice Department over their planned merger. The settlement will require the two airlines to give slots and gates at major airports to low-cost carrier airlines.
