95% of Apple Suppliers Compliant, Companies Prepare for Carbon Pollution Tax, Only in Amsterdam…

A new, primarily government-funded program in Amsterdam hires alcoholics to help them get back into the workforce, paying them in beer.

According to Apple’s latest Supplier Responsibility Report, 95% of the company’s suppliers are compliant with working week rules, up from 92% in January.

More than two dozen of the largest companies in the U.S. are expecting and preparing for a future carbon pollution tax levied by the government to control global warming.

Companies are increasingly moving out of suburbs into urban areas.
