UK to Investigate Natural Gas Suppliers, Rancho Feeding Corp. Closes, McDonald’s Opens in Vietnam

The British government will investigate suppliers of natural gas to households and break up any company it deems to be holding a monopoly.

Global meat suppliers are having trouble keeping up with rising demand from China, with meat demand expected to increase steadily at 2 percent annually.

Rancho Feeding Corp., a California firm that recalled 8.7 million pounds of beef last month, has been voluntarily shut down.

McDonald’s opened its first restaurant in Vietnam on Saturday, with hundreds showing up to the grand opening that naturally incorporated techno music and velvet rope.
