Hackers Target the Supply Chain, Boeing Demands that Suppliers Cut Prices, Airlines Sell VIP Services

The supply chain of a big company with thousands of suppliers may make it vulnerable to security hacks. In Target’s case, hackers gained access through the stolen credentials of a heating and refrigeration contractor.

World’s largest planemaker Boeing is demanding that its parts suppliers cut prices or lose contracts for new jets such as the 777X and 787 Dreamliner.

In hopes of reaching the 18-34 age group, Illinois is partnering with satire news site The Onion to promote Obamacare.

Airlines are making a profit from selling V.I.P. services typically reserved for heads of state and celebrities to the general public—those who could afford it, that is.
