GM Expands Compact Car Recall, Delta Changes Frequent Flyer Program, Italy’s Food Theme Park

General Motors expands its recall of compact cars to 1.37 million vehicles. The number of deaths resulting from the ignition problems has been raised to 13.

Beginning in 2015, Delta’s frequent flyer program will reward miles based on ticket price and not distance travelled.

The FDA has made changes to the food label, which will feature calorie counts more prominently and specify the amount of added sugars.

Eataly and the municipality of Bologna are developing a food theme park, a $55 million “Disneyland of food” aimed at creating jobs and boosting the economy.
