EWG Releases List of Food Items Containing ADA, UK Energy Suppliers to Repay $760M

After Subway removed azodicarbonamide (ADA) from its bread, the Environmental Working Group released a list of 500 more food items that contain ADA. Kroger, Marie Callendar’s, and Pillsbury are among the 130 brands that use the chemical in their products.

Britain’s six biggest energy suppliers were told to return over 400 million pounds ($760 million) that were held in former customers’ closed accounts.

Quiznos is reportedly preparing to file for bankruptcy.
