Apple Hiring Supply Chain Managers in Asia, Shares of Russian Companies Fall, Citigroup Subpoenaed

Apple Inc. is hiring hundreds of engineers and supply chain managers in China and Taiwan as part of its plan to speed up product development and launches.

Shares of Russian companies traded in the U.S. fell sharply Monday, as Russia’s military forces enter Ukraine and the two countries prepare for a potential war.

Citigroup has been subpoenaed, shortly after its disclosure of allegedly fraudulent billings at Banamex, its Mexico unit.

February sales slumped for General Motors and Ford, while Chrysler reported that its sales rose 11 percent.
