General Mills Reverses Controversial No-Sue Plans, Pfizer Approached AstraZeneca with Takeover Offer

General Mills is reversing its plans to make consumers give up their right to sue the company.

Pfizer was reportedly in talks with AstraZeneca for a $101-billion takeover, which the latter rejected.

Kraft is recalling about 96,000 pounds of Oscar Mayer Classic Wieners because the packages do not disclose that the product may contain milk, an allergen.

According to the latest Gallup poll, Americans still prefer to save money than spend it, by 62 percent to 34 percent. The gap has widened significantly since the poll was begun in 2001.
