1.4M Jobs to Fill in U.S. Logistics Industry, Ford Names Mark Fields as New CEO, GM Recall Windfall for Dealers

The $1.3 trillion logistics industry in the U.S. will need to fill about 1.4 million jobs by 2018, according to a new report.

Ford has named COO Mark Fields to succeed Alan Mulally as chief executive.

General Motors’ recall may be a windfall for GM dealers, who are looking at millions of dollars in repair bills that can be charged back to the automaker.
