Vibram Offers to Pay $3.75M Settlement, Sustainable Business Travel, More Americans Biking to Work

Vibram, the maker of the FiveFingers running shoes, has offered to pay $3.75 million to settle a lawsuit alleging that the shoes’ health benefits were overstated.

Dean Foods experienced a loss in the first quarter in large part due to the rising cost of raw milk and decreased consumer demand for dairy products.

More companies are looking to virtual meetings as an environmentally-friendly alternative to business travel, while others encourage employees to book direct flights, combine trips, and stay in certified green hotels.

Speaking of sustainability, the number of Americans biking to work has shot up by 61 percent over the past decade, according to a new report from the U.S. Census Bureau.
