US Manufacturers Look to Mexico, ISM Corrects Manufacturing Index, Qatar’s World Cup Trouble

Rising labor costs in China are pushing American manufacturers to look to Mexico.

The Institute for Supply Management corrected its May manufacturing index to 56, after first reporting that the number fell to 53.2 from 54.9 in April.

Qatar has been accused of corruption in the form of using slush funds to make payments to senior soccer officials to secure its 2022 World Cup bid.

After claims to the contrary, new tests conducted by Malaysian authorities found that Cadbury chocolate bars do not contain pig DNA and are therefore halal.
