McDonald’s Sales Plummet, China Denies Banning Apple Products from Government Procurement

McDonald’s global sales fell 2.5 percent in July, marking its worst month in more than 10 years, as the company deals with bad publicity following a meat supplier scandal in China.

China’s chief procurement center refutes claims that Apple products are banned from government procurement lists, explaining that Apple never applied to be on the list in question, one that is specifically for energy-saving products.

Malaysia Airlines will be taken private in order to be delisted and restructured after three years of losses.
