Rancho Feeding Corp. Officials Indicted, Google to Offer Accounts to Children Under 13

Four officials at Rancho Feeding Corp., the slaughterhouse at the center of the 8.7-million-pound beef recall in January, have been charged with distribution of adulterated, misbranded, and uninspected meat.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has released its annual “Cost of Raising a Child” report, according to which an average middle-income family will spend about $245,000 to raise a child born in 2013.

Sales of e-bikes, which are equipped with electric motors to make them easier to pedal, are experiencing fast growth in Europe.

Google is seeking to expand its user base by offering accounts to children under 13.
