iPhone 6 Release Date Reported, Spiders Spark Recall for Suzuki Cars

After reports surfaced of a production issue possibly causing a delay in the release of the new iPhone 6, a leaked document stated the device will be unveiled Tuesday, Sept. 9.

In what may sound like a strange reason for a recall, Suzuki is pulling more than 19,000 from the market due to spiders. The spiders are making webs that are reportedly clogging the vapor vent hose in some Kizashi cars - a defect that could block airflow and lead to gas tank issues, fuel leaks, and possibly fires.

Hewlett-Packard, too, has announced a product recall. The technology company is recalling as many as 6 million laptop power cords because they may overheat and pose a burn hazard.

GM said it will move production of its Cadillac SRX crossover SUV to the U.S. Currently, the vehicle is made in Mexico, but will soon be produced in Spring Hill, Tennessee.
