Opera Solutions Releases New Solution, GM Recalls Cop Cars

Opera Solutions released its new spend analytics solution BIQ 5.0 today. The solution is part of the company’s Signalytics Spend Intelligence Suite.

General Motors is now recalling police cars. The automaker has recalled almost 7,600 Chevrolet Caprice 2011 and 2013 vehicles due to a transmission defect.

Rio Tinto, a major mining company valued at around $90 billion, rejected a merger proposal from Glencore PLC. The merger would have created the world’s largest publicly trader miner.

Starting in 2015, Walmart will no longer provide health insurance coverage for employees who work less than 30 hours a week. The decision is expected to impact 30,000 part-time Walmart workers.
