Railroad Merger Talks Stop, Investors Interested in Buying Reebok

Railroad companies CSX and Canadian Pacific are no longer discussing a possible merger. No specific reason was disclosed for ending talks of the proposed $62 billion merger, but Canadian Pacific said “regulatory concerns” were an issue.

A group of investors are looking to buy the sneaker company Reebok from Adidas. The investors from Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi plan to offer $2.2 billion to Adidas.

Toyota announced a recall of 247,000 vehicles due to potential faulty front passenger air bags. The air bags from Takata Corp could burst and shoot out metal fragments.

Lovers of McDonald's McRib may be in for a disappointment. For the third year in a row, there will be limited supplies of the sandwich, the company announced.
