New GM Documents Released, PC Sales Expected to Rise, Levi Strauss Rewarding Sustainable Suppliers

Newly disclosed documents show General Motors made an urgent order for replacement ignition switches months before notifying federal authorities and drivers of its massive car recall.

After a relatively flat year in PC sales, manufacturers are hoping 2015 will bring a boost in sales of the computers. Microsoft’s Windows 10 is expected to help those sales rise.

Levi Strauss is awarding its suppliers that operate under high environmental, safety and health standards. Studies have shown customers are willing to pay more for sustainable and “ethically made” goods.
