Infosys Loses Top Execs After Over Billing Apple, Amazon Adds Robots to Workforce

An internal audit discovered Indian IT services exporter Infosys Ltd was overcharging Apple Inc., a reported error that has led the company to fire its chief financial officer of its BPO unit. Infosys’ BPO chief executive officer resigned from the company as well.

Amazon will have robots working at its warehouses to help stock shelves and locate items. The orange, wheeled robots enable Amazon workers to nearly triple the number of items picked and scanned off warehouse shelves each hour.

French company Technip, an engineering and construction services company for the energy industry, has offered $1.8 billion to take over oil services company CGG.
